BEREAVEMENT

Losing a loved one can be very hard to deal with, grief caused by our loss can affect everyone young and old. They say time heals, but sometimes we need a little extra help to enable us to cope.

OMEGA - Care for Life

Omega is a progressive, end of life charity supporting the bereaved and caring families looking after someone with life-limiting or terminal illness. We believe that caring is everyone’s business. Many of the people we help are in crisis or have become socially isolated; some, including the frail-elderly are themselves near end of life.

We work collaboratively to help people to help themselves. We encourage peer-support and share information and coping skills. We help clients to address their personal priorities, we keep in touch with lonely clients and we provide purposeful, therapeutic paid work and volunteering opportunities.
