3.5.2019  Heol y Ffynnon, Brecon 

Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the theft of prescription drugs from a house in Brecon.

Around 600 co codamol tablets have been reported stolen following a burglary on Monday.

Officers are concerned the tablets could be sold on, and are urging people not to buy them.

Anyone with information is urged to contact 101 ref DP-20190605-109 as a matter of urgency.

28 May 2019 - 16:50 - Sarn / Churchstoke

A collision occurred outside the entrance to the Holy Trinity Church involving a silver Vauxhall Astra and a silver & black coloured Suzuki motorbike. Sadly, the rider of the motorbike passed away at the scene. 

Anyone who saw these vehicles or was in the area and has dashcam footage is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference 249.” 


5.5.2019 - Llananno

4.5.2019 Newtown

At 3am a white Transit van ram raided Freestyle Bikes at the St. Giles Business Park. Two blue and white Yamaha's and a Husqavana motorcycles worth £18,650.00 were stolen along with £12,000.00 worth of damage. Any information please phone 101 and quote the reference number DPP/0016/04/05/2019/02/C

8.4.2019 - Llanidloes

Single vehicle RTC on the B4569 Llanidloes, Powys, at just after 3.30am (Monday, April 8), involving a 57-plate Ford Fiesta. A man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. If anyone has any information on this incident, please contact Dyfed Powys, Roads Policing unit on 101 quoting reference 028 for the 8th April.

30.3.2019 - Ystradgynlais

Fatal road traffic collision, which occurred on Saturday, March 30 at around 9pm on Neath Road, Ystradgynlais. The incident involved a Red Renault Clio and a pedestrian. Sadly, the male pedestrian passed away at the scene. If anyone has any information on this incident or may have seen a man walking along Neath Road, around that time, please contact the roads policing unit on 101. Quote reference DPP-20190330-362.

24.3.2019 - Libanus

A470 between Libanus and Storey Arms at 2pm on Sunday, March 24. Collision involving four vehicles, a van, car and two motorbikes. occurred at an unclassified junction that leads to the A4215. The rider of a Suzuki suffered minor injuries, and the rider of a Harley Davidson suffered life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital. Police are appealing for witnesses, in particular looking for a white van type vehicle that turned right into the unclassified at the time of the collision. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Brecon Roads Policing Team on 101, quoting reference 169 

24.3.2019 - Pen y Cae

Fatal road traffic collision which occurred just before 11am 24th March 2019 on the A4067 Brecon Road, between Pen y Cae and the Cray Reservoir in Powys. Sadly the male rider of a motorcycle, the only vehicle involved, died at the scene.  Any information or camera footage please call 101

23.2.2019 21:10 Brecon

Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating an assault . The male victim was punched twice in the face in the Sarah Siddons pub in an unprovoked attack. He did not suffer any visible injuries. Officers are keen to speak to the man pictured, who may have information that could help them with their enquiries. If you recognise the man in the photograph, believe it is you, or have any information that could help officers with their investigation contact PC Luke Shackley on 101 ref: DPP/0099/23/02/2019/01/C. 

12.2.2019 Caersws.

Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses to a two-vehicle collision near Caersws on Tuesday, following which a man sadly died. The collision occurred on the B4568 Aberhafesp to Llanwnog road at the crossroads with the B4569 near to Caersws at around 2.45pm. A Vauxhall Astra and a Volkswagen Passat were involved. Sadly, a 75-year-old man died the following day. Anyone who saw the two cars driving along this road at around 2.45pm, or who witnessed the collision, is asked to contact Pc1169 Mark White at Newtown Police station. 

25.01.19 Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant

Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses following an attempted cash point theft at the free standing cash machine on Market Square in Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant. A member of the public saw a vehicle stop at Market Square and then people, believed to be men, leave the vehicle and act suspiciously at the site. The witness was threatened by one of the men before they got back in the vehicle and left the scene at speed. Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen a vehicle in the area between 2am and 3.30am on Friday, January 25. Anyone with information that can help officers with their investigation is asked to report it by calling 101.Quote reference: DP-20190125-020.

 2.12.2018 - Builth Wells

The incident happened during an under-15s rugby match between Builth RFC and Abercrave RFC. A fight broke out on the pitch resulting in an adult male assaulting a 15-year-old boy.

8.12.2018 05:45 - FATAL COLLISION

Dyfed Powys Police is investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the A470, near to Llyswen, and involved a blue Ford Focus and a white Man lorry. Sadly, the driver of the Ford Focus was pronounced deceased at the scene. contact the Powys Roads Policing Unit on 101
