Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Lorraine Price, aged 46, from Brecon. Officers were called to an address in Talbot Terrace last night (Sunday, November 17), where the 46-year-old was found deceased. The death is being treated as unexplained and a team of officers are carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances. Detective Chief Inspector Paul Jones said: “We are not looking for anyone in connection with Lorraine’s death, but we are nevertheless trying to piece together what has happened over the past few days. “We are asking anyone who saw Lorraine between the morning of Thursday, November 14 and the evening of Sunday, November 17 to please contact us, as any information you have could help the investigation. Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for information following a fatal collision on the A4215 between Libanus and Defynnog. A motorbike and a car collided at around 3.15pm, with the rider of the motorbike sustaining serious injuries. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the car were uninjured. Anyone who witnessed the accident or who has car amera video footage is asked to contact via 101.
A silver BMW motorbike was travelling from the direction of Penderyn, on the A4059, towards the junction with the A470. The car, a silver Mazda CX-5, was travelling from the A470 junction towards Penderyn. The motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains. Police in Welshpool are appealing for witnesses or information to a burglary in Crew Green. A number of sheds were broken into belonging to one property by the side of the B4393. A range of tools and a mountain bike were taken including Dewalt drills, Makita drills, Makita radio, Stihl disc cutter and chain saws, an Impax mig welder, paslode nail gun. Police in Newtown are appealing for information about a suspicious incident that took place in the public toilets at Gravel car park on Short Bridge Street. At round 12.30pm on Saturday, October 12, a man in his fifties who was performing a sex act on himself, approached a young man. Police would like to identify and speak to a man who was in the area at the time. He was around 5ft 11inches tall and had grey/brown stubble. He was wearing a blue fleece jacket with a grey and blue baseball cap. Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for information that could help officers identify who collided with a garden wall of a property at Cwm Llinau, near Machynlleth, on the A470. A vehicle hit the wall at around 6.55am on Friday, October 11, causing considerable damage to the wall, and failed to stop. A fatal accident happened on the A483 at 12:50pm just southof Llanwtyd Wells involving one vehicle, but it is believed was travelling in convoy with four other vehicles, the driver unfortunately passed away at the scene. An incident happened on Saturday night, September 21. A man in his 40s was found unconscious between 10.15pm and 11.15pm in the alleyway next to Barclays Bank that runs down to the Groe Carpark. He had facial injuries that required medical attention and £30 in cash was missing. Dyfed-Powys is appealing for witnesses to a serious assault in Welshpool, which occurred at approximately 9.45am.
Two men were walking near the fire station at Severn Road, after getting off a bus in the town centre, when one was stabbed from behind. He received puncture wounds to his neck and abdomen, which are not life threatening. He was not hospitalised. The attacker made off from the scene towards the town centre. The second man was not injured. A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife in connection to the incident. He remains in police custody at this time. Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection to the incident. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them urgently. They are particularly keen to receive dash cam footage from anyone travelling through the area between around 9.30am and 10am. An assault on a 60 year old man ocured around 3.30pm at Garth Vaughan (known as the Flats). The man was airlifted to hospital where he remains with head and neck injuries. At 11:45 am there was a fatal collision on the A483 between Crossgates and Llanbister involving a green Kawasaki motorcycle and a silver Ford S-Max. if you witnessed the accident or have any information or dashcam footage please contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting reference 197 of August 25.
At 5.50pm there was a fatal accident between a silver Suzuki motorcycle and a red Toyota Landcruiser on the A458 by the entrance to the Golf Course. At around 4.30pm a fatal collision occured involving three vehicles, a Blue Ford Fusion, a Black Vauxhall Astra and a Morrisons lorry. Sadly a 77 year old man died at the scene and several casualties were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police in Newtown are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault that occurred on Friday 2nd August 2019 between 8.30pm and 8.45pm along the footpath which adjoins the carpark off Short Bridge Street to the top River path (opposite the Public toilets). A fifty four year old man, who was in the company of two females and a dog, received injuries which required hospital treatment. Three males, two aged 17 and one aged 16, were arrested on suspicion of assault. They have been released on police bail pending further enquiries. Between 11pm and midnight, an elderly man used the toilets of the campsite at Lower North 12, which is near entrance F, located at the far end of the showground near the cattle sheds. On leaving the toilets, he reports being punched to the face and having items stolen. He was found in hedgerow behind the toilets the following day. He sustained minor injuries and is recovering. Police are continuing to investigate, and would like to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything between 11pm and midnight on Tuesday, July 23. As a point of reference to anyone who was at the show, it was the night of the thunderstorm. Dyfed-Powys Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision.
Officers received a report of a Seat leaving the road and going down an embankment at around 11.50pm on Thursday, July 11 on the A483 near Llanbister, Powys. The male driver and sole occupant of the car has sadly died. Fire and ambulance also attended. Any witnesses are asked to contact the SCIU on 101 quoting message 422 of July 11
A serious two vehicle head on collision happened around 07:10 on the B4386 requiring the drivers to be cut free by Fire & Rescue units and attended to by the Wales Air Ambulance. Both male drivers were taken to hospital. The scene is being investigated by the West Mercia Police and Dyfed Powys Police. Any information especially in-car camera footage woud be welcome. Dyfed Powys Police are appealing for information that could help our investigating in to a suspicious incident in Glasbury, A woman has reported that while using the public toilets, at around 9.45am, an unknown man has entered and spoken to her. The woman then heard a noise she believed to be the outside door locking. Someone attempted to enter the toilets, which interrupted the man, and officers would like to speak to that person. The woman was not harmed, but was left feeling unsettled by the incident. Dyfed-Powys Police attended Lion Yard, in Brecon, at around 6.40pm on Tuesday, July 2 to a report of a medical emergency. Colleagues from the Wales Ambulance Service also attended, but sadly, a man died a short time after in hospital. His next of kin has been informed. Around 600 co codamol tablets have been reported stolen following a burglary on Monday.
Officers are concerned the tablets could be sold on, and are urging people not to buy them.

Single vehicle RTC on the B4569 Llanidloes, Powys, at just after 3.30am (Monday, April 8), involving a 57-plate Ford Fiesta. A man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. A collision occurred outside the entrance to the Holy Trinity Church involving a silver Vauxhall Astra and a silver & black coloured Suzuki motorbike. Sadly, the rider of the motorbike passed away at the scene.

Fatal road traffic collision, which occurred on Saturday, March 30 at around 9pm on Neath Road, Ystradgynlais. The incident involved a Red Renault Clio and a pedestrian. Sadly, the male pedestrian passed away at the scene. A470 between Libanus and Storey Arms at 2pm on Sunday, March 24. Collision involving four vehicles, a van, car and two motorbikes. occurred at an unclassified junction that leads to the A4215. The rider of a Suzuki suffered minor injuries, and the rider of a Harley Davidson suffered life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital. Police are appealing for witnesses, in particular looking for a white van type vehicle that turned right into the unclassified at the time of the collision. Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses to a two-vehicle collision near Caersws on Tuesday, following which a man sadly died. The collision occurred on the B4568 Aberhafesp to Llanwnog road at the crossroads with the B4569 near to Caersws at around 2.45pm. A Vauxhall Astra and a Volkswagen Passat were involved. Sadly, a 75-year-old man died the following day. Anyone who saw the two cars driving along this road at around 2.45pm, or who witnessed the collision, is asked to contact Pc1169 Mark White at Newtown Police station.
Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses following an attempted cash point theft at the free standing cash machine on Market Square in Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant. A member of the public saw a vehicle stop at Market Square and then people, believed to be men, leave the vehicle and act suspiciously at the site. The witness was threatened by one of the men before they got back in the vehicle and left the scene at speed. Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen a vehicle in the area between 2am and 3.30am on Friday, January 25. West Mercia Police are looking for information regarding a break-in at the Lower House Equine Clinic at around 5am.
Vials of Ketamine (Ketamador), Diazepam, Morphine, Somulose, Atropine and Adrenaline were taken.
A neighbouring company was also targeted with 20 Saddles being stolen.

Somulose is used to euthanise horses and will be potentially fatal if taken by humans.
All the drugs are of high strength and harmful to any humans that may take them.
An Ambulance wass broken into just before 3am, Endo-tracheal blades and laryngoscope handles were stolen from the rear of the Ambulance that was parked up in Dogpole while the crew dealt with an nearby emergency. These items are of no use to anyone apart from paramedics to maintain airways and the theft took a vital ambulance off the road for hours. The man in the photograph was recorded on the vehicles CCTV and West Mercia Police would very much like to talk to him. Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the theft of £220 from a shop in Talgarth, Brecon. On July 11 at around 2.20 and 2.30am, a man entered the Cooperative store on Square Street. He used a slight of hand technique to confuse the cashier and pocketed £220. Officers would like to speak to the man in the CCTV image, who could have information that can help them with their enquiries.
